Cooking oil is produced by pressing various types of produce in a fruit press.

These oils can be used for cooking as well as to fuel lamps and lanterns.

Produce items that can be made into cooking oil are as follows:

• Corn
• Cotton seeds
• Fennel
• Hazelnuts
• Nutmeg
• Pinenuts
• Walnuts

Olives can also be pressed into olive oil, but this is a distinct item and not considered a type of cooking oil.
