Meat Types
Meat is divided into the following categories:
- Bear - brown and black bears
- Beef - bison, cow, bull, calf
- Canine - wolf, dog, hell hound, rift jackal, rift caster, rift summoner, rift beast, warmaster
- Crab, seafood - crab
- Dragon - all dragons and dragon hatchlings
- Feline - wild cat, mountain lion
- Fowl - chicken, eaglespirit, hen, rooster
- Game - crocodile, deer, easter bunny, gorilla, pheasant, large rat
- Horse - donkey, foal, hell horse, horse, unicorn
- Human - guards, players
- Humanoid - kyklops, goblin leader, goblin, rift ogre, rift ogre mage, son of nogump, spawn of uttacha, troll king, troll
- Insect - cave bug, fog spider, hell scorpious, lava spider, scorpion, spider
- Lamb - lamb, ram, sheep
- Pork - wild boar, pig
- Seafood - blue whale, dolphin, octopus, seal cub, seal, sea serpent, shark, tortoise
- Snake - anaconda, cobra king
- Tough - deathcrawler minion, sol demon, avatars, forest giant, rabid hyena, lava fiend, worg
Notes
- Meat is an important ingredient in hot food cooking, and also good for taming and feeding meat-eating pets.
- Meat is acquired by successfully butchering creatures. Starving animals do not give any meat. Blacklighters can gain meat from butchering human corpses.
- Used in cooking
- Meat dropped on the ground attracts meat-eating animals and monsters.
- Quality of meat affects the taming timer.
- Can be stored in a food storage bin when uncooked
